Returns for faulty products

  • You can get a refund, repair, or replacement if a product is faulty, unsafe, doesn't match the description, or wasn't of acceptable quality.

  • The remedy depends on the fault:

    • Minor fault: The retailer can choose to repair, replace, or refund you.

    • Major fault: You have the choice of a replacement or a refund. A major fault is one that would have stopped you from buying the item if you had known about it.

  • APEX RC will not offer store credit for faulty goods; APEX RC will provide a refund, repair, or replacement.

  • A "reasonable time" is key: APEX RC will provide a remedy within a reasonable time. If APEX RC doesn’t you can get the item repaired elsewhere and claim the costs from the retailer, or reject the product and get a refund or replacement. 

Returns for "change of mind"

  • No legal right to a refund: Under the CGA, you are generally not entitled to a refund or exchange if you change your mind.

  • At APEX RCs discretion: APEX RC may consider "change of mind" returns as a customer service gesture, but APEX RC is not legally required to unless it's a condition of sale.

  • Online and distance sales: There are exceptions, like the ability to change your mind for up to five working days on door-to-door sales.
